8) What is YOUR opinion on influencers? Are they a positive or negative influence on our society and culture? Why?

I think it's negative as Influencers have an extremely strong impact on the people who watch them and even those who don't but are aware of their presence. They could either have a very strong positive experience for others or the exact opposite depending on how they use their platform. So one thing that many people need to keep in mind is that the person behind the screen that you so desire to be, to have their life or to look like is not real. It is a facade that they are being paid to put on. So they cannot love you they way they say they do, but they do love that you gave them a platform to for them to make a living. This facade can be quite harmful to young people who don't know any better, for example Pearl, Sneako and Andrew Tate - who perptuate ideologies of how to treat women. Such ideologies warp the way both young males and females view their future romantic relationships. So overall i think Influencers have a negative impact on our society and culture.
