1) What type of news can you typically find in a tabloid newspaper?

  Celebrity gossip mostly ,showbiz gossip, entertainment and sport.

  More serious topics

3) If someone is left-wing, which political party are they likely to support? Which newspaper would they be likely to read?

   They are more likely to support the labour party and therefore would be more likely to read the Daily Mirror

4) If someone is right-wing, which political party are they likely to support? Which newspaper would they be likely to read?
 
 They are more likely to support the conservative party and read the Times 

5) Why has there been a decline in newspaper sales in the last 20 years?

   There's been a decline in newspaper sales in the last 20 yrs because of the increase of the internet as people are able to get information at their fingertips, they no longer need to pay for it, the internet also plays into the fact that because of it people no longer by paper back as there's no use for it.

6) Why is a free press important in a democracy like the UK?

   Because the UK presents itself as a democratic country which means that all of it's citizens have rights like freedom of speech. This also means that the media is free to do and say as they please with regulations of course yet not many.
